We invite you to discover the Château de Cognac, a historic monument, a witness to French history and the home of BARON OTARD and D'USSÉ Cognacs.
Château de Cognac, overlooking the Charente river, was first a 10th-century fortress designed to stop Norman invasions, then in the 15th century a seigneurial dwelling where one of France's most illustrious kings, François I, was born.
Today, the building is a historic monument and home to BARON OTARD and D'USSÉ Cognacs.
The guided tours of Château de Cognac consist of two parts: the History of France and the story of BARON OTARD and D'USSÉ cognacs.
The tours are guided in French and English and available in 27 languages through audioguides.
You can find our tour offerings in the "Tours" section of the website.
